2006 Skatewave® Demo Tour Rolls to an End

The second annual Demo Tour came to an end in sunny California at the end of August. From the Tour’s beginning in Minnesota to stops in Florida, Ontario Canada, Colorado and Washington, each event excited local customers and riders. The Demo Tour featured a 4,500 square-foot Skatewave 3.0 skatepark, demos by pro riders Rodney Jones, Dayne Brummet, Charlie Thomas and Dorian Tucker, giveaways from our sponsors and more.

The 2006 Skatewave Demo Tour was sponsored by Landscape Structures, Angelboy™ skateboards by Powell, Sundt Memorial Foundation and vitaminwater® by Glacéau. 

New to the Demo Tour this year was the “Skatewave Experience.” The educational session proved to be a great tool for park and recreation specialists, landscape architects and other professionals interested in learning about the skatepark industry, skatepark design, trends, planning and more.
